Curious what we have to offer?
Hasselt Fashion Museum is housed in a unique seventeenth-century building known as the Oud Gasthuis (“old guesthouse”). While we do not have a permanent collection, we do stage two fascinating exhibitions every year. We always highlight different themes and objects, so feel free to visit us as often as you like.

Hasselt Fashion Museum is located along the small ring road in the centre of Hasselt, next to the Holiday Inn hotel. The entrance is on Gasthuisstraat.

Hasselt Fashion Museum is easily accessible on foot and by bicycle. Follow the ‘Modemuseum Hasselt’ signs throughout the city. There is a bicycle parking area on Gasthuisstraat.
No bicycle? No problem! You can rent a bicycle at the various Mobit and Blue Bike locations throughout the city. Tourism office Visit Hasselt also offers one-day bicycle rental.
Public transport
Our museum is a short 800-metre walk from the railway station. If the weather is bad or if you have difficulty walking, you can take the shuttle bus to the ‘Thonissenlaan’ stop, which is just 100 metres from the museum.
By car
Hasselt is easily accessible via the E313 motorway (exit 27, 28 or 29) and the E314 motorway (exit 29).
The museum does not have its own car park. If you want to park nearby, follow the signs to the Kanaalkom parking area on the large ring road. The nearest paid car parks are Parking Molenpoort and Parking Blauwe Boulevard. Free parking is available at one of the peripheral car parks (behind CCHA and on Koning Boudewijnlaan). From here you can take a lovely stroll through Hasselt to the museum.
