Additional details...

Reservations

Book your visit in advance. Select a date and a time slot between 10:00 and 16:00. Please pay for your ticket online with a credit or debit card to make your visit as safe as possible. If you have a discount card or if you’re entitled to a free visit, you must still reserve a time slot. If you do not have internet access, you can reserve your visit by phone on +32 (0)11 23 96 21. If you are unable to come, please cancel or reschedule your visit at least 24 hours in advance.

Order online

When ordering a ticket online, you can choose a twenty-minute time slot between 10:00 and 16:00. During this time slot you can check in at the reception desk and start your visit. We use time slots to limit the number of visitors and to ensure your safety. We ask that all visitors respect the national coronavirus rules and stay at a 1.5 metre (5ft) distance.

Pay by debit or credit card

If you are unable to pay online, you can pay for your tickets at reception when you arrive at the museum. We do ask that you pay with a debit card or credit card, as we prefer not to accept cash for safety reasons.

Disinfect your hands on arrival

We ask all visitors to disinfect their hands at the disinfectant station on arrival. After you do this, the reception officer will welcome you and check your ticket.

Maintain a safe distance

To make your visit as safe as possible, we ask that you maintain a safe distance of at least 1.5 metres from other visitors. Please also keep a safe distance from the exhibition objects and do not touch them.

Follow the walking route

We have created a walking route through the museum to minimise contact between visitors. We kindly ask that you follow this route at all times.

Face mask? Yes, please!

A face mask is mandatory for all museum visitors aged 6 and older.

Visit with your own bubble

We understand that a museum visit is even more enjoyable with friends and family, but we urge you to only plan visits for you and your social bubble. There are no communal areas in the museum for you to sit and discuss your experience. You can, however, do this outside on a nearby restaurant terrace.

Enjoy your visit!
